We are currently looking to recruit an Oracle Solutions Architect and an Inside Sales Account Manager to join the great team based in the Kenya office located in Nairobi.
Oracle Solutions Architect
The Oracle Solutions Architect will work as a technical conduit for Regional Sales Managers and Account managers in an effort to drive sales revenue.
Duties and responsibilities
Respond to customer requests for information (RFI) and proposal (RFP) using Oracle tools to create Bills of Material (BOM).
Liaise with Oracle Business Manager on technical marketing by presenting technical solutions and products to resellers. (Reseller Technical workshops)
Execute regional boot camps as assigned by the Business Manager to help Certify resellers as per Vendor MBOs
Maintain technical Oracle certifications as assigned to by the Oracle Business Manager
Minimum Job Qualifications: Education/Knowledge/Technical Skills and Experience
A Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science Degree
A minimum of 3 years’ experience in an Oracle Hardware Pre-sales function or similar
Oracle Pre-Sales training on Systems and storage to certification level
The candidate must also possess the following Personal Attributes/Abilities (Competencies):
Ability to be very structured, organized, efficient and self-sufficient
Excellent verbal, presentation and written communication skills
Must be a team-player, with good ability to create and maintain relationships with Oracle sales team
Approach to work must be flexible and innovative - should constantly strive for improvements, cost efficiencies and with quality in mind
Inside Sales Account Manager
The ISAM will be responsible via outbound/Inbound calls for retaining business through mining and growing accounts, analysing customer needs, identifying and customizing products and services to maintain and grow account relationship, while increasing sales pipeline.
He/she will be required to Work within a team environment and partners with the sales & sales support team to develop customer solution to achieve regional quota metrics.
Duties and Responsibilities
These include:
Meet or exceed sales quota for assigned territory through:
Transactional – Inbound Calls/emails, responding to quotes requests and taking orders
Pipeline Creation – Proactively generating sales & opportunities
Increase sales volume by increasing reseller solution, program and promotion knowledge by engaging & leveraging Comstor Resources (RSM,BDM, Pre-sales Eng., Marketing) through quote to cash cycle
Capture detailed information about accounts and orders on the ERP which involves accepting & processing orders, while ensuring customer information are captured and are updated on the ERP.
Develop base-line knowledge of all competitors and their product offerings by attending and passing agreed
Vendor Certification

Cisco Sales Expert
EMC Sales Certification
CCNA is an added advantage
Related job experience:
2-3 Years Sales Experience in the ICT industry
1-2 Sales Support/Customer Service Experience is an added advantage
