I bet most of us had to bring a receipt at the end of the day to show our parents that we in deed paid our school fees….and didn’t decide to buy some ‘ngumus’ and enjoy with our friends…and then thorough beating would begin.
They did not buy delish ‘ngumus’ with their school fees but they got duped or better yet they got conned.
How did this happen you ask? Instead of following the procedure for payment of school fees which is set by the University, nearly 1,000 students fell prey to their cheeky colleagues who had allegedly set a deal with the accounts clerk to steal the Sh70m worth of school fees.
Choices they say have consequences and although they might not receive a thorough beating from their parents, they may not sit their end of semester exams.
