To broaden your job search and get those jobs rarely advertised you need help. Recruitment firms in Kenya can greatly improve the odds of you getting a job very fast.

We will be updating this page with details of recruitment and HR  firms that you should seek out.

And if you’re in this category please send us your details to include here.

Some recruitment firms in Kenya that deliver include

Manpower Services.
We know them from the newspapers as every Friday you cannot miss a job vacancy courtesy of these guys. Manpower recruits from senior to director level jobs in Kenya although you will occasionally find an entry position advertised. There is no registration fee and the recruitment charge is payable by the employer.

Adept Management System.
Another credible recruitment firm in Kenya. Recruits mainly for mid sized firms. No CV placement fee. www.adeptsys.biz

Corporate Staffing Services.
Corporate staffing services are new to the HR scene having started operations two years ago. However, the firm is causing ripples with their recruitment approach. Unlike other agencies there is no joining fee. You also get advice on your CV and interview skills. Worth checking out this new year. www.staff-kenya.com
Skills Geographic.
Based at Visions Plaza along Mombasa Road, the firm offers a range of HR services. And like the firms listed above you absolutely pay zero in joining fee. The firm is not old and surely does deliver.

Hawkins Associates.
KCB Bank uses this firm for their graduate recruitment program otherwise their recruitment target is for senior management and executives. There are no charges for CV placement. www.hawkins.co.ke

One underlying theme for all the firms listed above is no CV placement  fee for candidates.

However, there are some firms in Kenya that charge to have your CV. I find this a little bit unfair considering that the agency cannot find a job for each and every candidate that passes through their doors. I have heard tales of candidates paying upto 3k per year with no job forth coming. My assumption is that when you’re looking for a job you need each and every coin. Unless i pay you latter for getting me a job then myself I wouldn’t give you my CV.

I am not saying that these firms do not deliver, many actually do but there is a real danger that a year will pass without you getting a job through them.

Below are the agencies that charge in Kenya and according to research for this article some candidates did get jobs through them and others are still waiting for jobs despite paying for two years plus.

Joblink-Charges K’sh 3,600 for CV placement.
Preferred Personnel. Charges K’sh 3,000
Sheer Logic Management. Charges K’sh 500.

These are the credible recruitment firms that you can use to make your job search this year a success. Please google each firm or ask your freinds for more details.
